Just A Thought-Witnessing the Gospel
I have a really hard time with witnessing. Ever since I could remember I’ve always had this fear of being rejected whether it’s me, my ideas, food I made, you name it! I never want to put any of me out there because I don’t want to be rejected and looked at negatively. I fear witnessing to a lot of people because of the way they talk, dress, and the way they live their lives. I look at them and just assume that they already have heard the Gospel and rejected it and that there’s no way I can help them to develop a relationship with Christ.
However, God’s been showing me that people don’t always act that way as a rebellion towards God, they just don’t know God. They don’t know OUR God. God’s showing me that people really want Jesus. They NEED Jesus. They want something that will finally make them feel whole. They want their lives to truly have meaning. They want to live for something greater than themselves. They want Jesus, they just don’t know how to get to him. That’s where we Christians come in. We need to boldly show people the way to God which is through Jesus. This concept is something so common to Christians that have been going to Sunday School every Sunday morning since they could remember, but it’s not as common as it should be in today’s general society and we shouldn’t let that thought just blow over our heads just because we’ve heard it so many times.
Refusing to spread the Word is disobeying to God and also one of the most selfish acts we Christians can commit. God is always going to be with us while we witness so there’s absolutely no reason to be afraid. Yes, we will be mocked from time to time but the Bible says to rejoice when that happens (Luke 6:22). Not all people will accept Christ right there on the spot but we should always continue to pray for the seed that we just planted in that person’s heart to grow closer and closer to the Lord. We may even offend people sometimes but it’s better for them to hurt now for a few moments on earth than to hurt eternally in Hell.
We Christians always need to be fearlessly spreading the Word of God. Not just spreading it but actually living it too. We can’t lead anyone to the Lord if we’re not truly living for the Lord and we’re not truly living for the Lord if we’re not spreading the love of the Lord. If we the saved aren’t living for God then why would the unsaved want to live for God? So let’s all courageously tell others about the Lord! We have the power to help change someone’s life. Why pass up that amazing opportunity?

When we "Hate God" we say things like "he sends you to hell, he allows diseases and war and death and he's evil"
When at the core, those aren’t the reason we “hate God”
People hate God because they expected life to be easy, and it isn’t.
But God never said it would be easy, he never sugar-coated the situation this world was in, he made it clear that the only way to be rescued from it, is through him.
I’m going to try to write down something thats been on my mind lately, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to word it correctly.
